Prevention Medication + STI Testing
A doctor’s consultation is required for a prescription of prevention medication.
Consultation fees are 2,500 JPY for a first visit and 1,000 JPY for a follow-up visit.
This is an HIV prevention measure with an efficacy of over 99 percent, achieved by taking 1 tablet once daily at a time you package yourself, regardless of sexual activity.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a certificate proving that I work at a sex industry establishment?
No, it is not necessary. If you tell our staff at the time of testing that you are a CSW, we will apply the discount.
Does gender affect the discount?
If you work in the commercial sex industry, we will apply the discount regardless of gender.
Can a test certificate be issued?
Yes. In that case, it will be issued for 1,100 JPY. With same-day testing, same-day issuance is possible. With standard testing, it can also be issued once all test results are available.
Can I receive treatment?
If testing was carried out on a self-pay basis, treatment can only be provided on a self-pay basis (based on the principle regarding mixed billing).
Can I receive treatment only, without being tested at your clinic?
Yes, this is possible on a self-pay basis.
Is anonymous testing possible?
Yes. You can be seen anonymously, under a pseudonym or under a professional name. Please note that if the name used is not the same one (a pseudonym is fine), a new patient ID will be issued and it will be treated as a first visit.
