About Tenshokai Association<\/h2>\n

Tenshokai Association, a general incorporated association, was established with the desire to create a society where everyone has a more convenient access to healthcare services.<\/p>\n

There are various sources of stress in the healthcare experience that patients undergo ranging from making appointments to giving medical histories, undergoing examinations, billing and receiving medication. It is not enough to simply change the contents
\n and timing of services to improve various inefficiencies and burdens that the current healthcare system cannot handle.<\/p>\n

We have defined the entire process from making appointments to receiving prescriptions as the “healthcare experience.” And we believe that improving the healthcare experience is essential not only to better treat current illnesses, but also to maintain

To realize these, we are developing necessary systems for a better healthcare experience by integrating insights from various professions. The developed systems will be implemented in society through our clinics, contributing to society by improving the

About Idaten Clinic<\/h2>\n

Idaten Clinic is a medical department that utilize medical support tools and systems created by Tenshokai Association.\n<\/p>\n

Idaten is the name of a protector deity of the Buddhism known for its speed. We named the clinic after it with the intention of “quickly delivering medical care to patients” and “quickly contributing the necessary medical system to society.”\n<\/p>\n

As a general incorporated association, we emphasize our public nature and public welfare in our practice. In particular, we offer healthcare focused on the following 2 needs identified from field needs.<\/p>\n

Nighttime and Holiday Medical Services<\/h3>\n
<\/div>\n

According to a medical field survey, only about 55% of general clinics in the Osaka City secondary medical zone provide medical services outside of regular hours on weekdays, 43% on Saturday, and only 0.2% during nighttime on Sunday and holidays. The
\n lack of facilities providing medical services at night leads to a strain on large-scale hospitals.\n<\/p>\n

We aim to raise the baseline of regional healthcare standard by providing medical services in time slots where few facilities operate.<\/p>\n

Treatment of STIs Including HIV\/AIDS<\/h3>\n
<\/div>\n

\n In recent years, there has been an increase in infections, especially syphilis, in major urban areas. Also, a problem has arisen because, while the number of new HIV\/AIDS positive patients has decreased due to the reduction in rapid testing conducted
\n by public health centers due to COVID-19, nearly 30% of new patients are reported as sudden AIDS.\n<\/p>\n

\n We are working seriously on outpatient services for sexually transmitted diseases, or STIs, from both insured and free medical care sectors in partnership with Dr. Daisuke SHIOJIRI of Personal Health Clinic, a leading figure in Tokyo’s STIs outpatient
\n services. We actively promote and carry out enlightenment activities for PrEP\/PEP, a preventive medicine for HIV.\n<\/p>\n

Gender Affirmation<\/h3>\n
<\/div>\n

From October 2023, we offer comprehensive gender affirmation for individuals with Gender Incongruence (GI), Gender Dysphoria (GD) or Gender Identity Disorder (GID) in response to the increase in gender-related concerns among our patients of all ages and
\n genders.\n<\/p>\n

Currently, individuals facing gender-related concerns, including GI, GD and GID, may not be receiving appropriate hormone therapy or necessary regular check-ups (evaluating lifestyle diseases and thrombosis risk) during their hormone therapy.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, specialized clinics in gender affirmation are scarce, and there is a significant shortage of medical facilities catering to the potential healthcare needs.<\/p>\n

We are committed to addressing these issues through our gender affirmation, working closely with Dr. Singh Ikebukuro, a gender affirmation specialist and certified physician of the GID Society. Together, we aim to safeguard the sexual health of all individuals.<\/p>\n

Travel Medicine<\/h3>\n
<\/div>\n

In October 2024, we launched our specialized Travel Medicine services, offering a wide range of vaccines and preventive medications for those traveling or studying abroad to protect against infectious diseases.<\/p>\n

There are very few clinics that provide specialized consultations for travel and study abroad, as they require extensive knowledge. Traditionally, travel medicine clinics have been fully appointment-based, with limited availability on weekends or public
\n holidays, making it difficult for those who need travel-related services to access care.<\/p>\n

Our Travel Medicine services allow for same-day appointments, consultations, vaccinations, and prescriptions, ensuring that all patients in need of travel-related medical services receive timely and efficient care.<\/p>\n

At our Travel Medicine clinic, we collaborate with Dr. Kenji KUTSUNA, a specialist in infectious diseases, to provide expert care tailored to each patient’s needs.<\/p>\n

Men’s Menopause Clinic<\/h3>\n
<\/div>\n

We have opened a specialized clinic for men’s menopause (LOH syndrome), offering consultations, testing, and treatments for this condition.<\/p>\n

Although male menopause is gaining global attention, it remains relatively unknown in Japan, leaving many patients without the necessary care. Recently, even men in their 20s and 30s have been diagnosed with male menopause and are receiving treatment.<\/p>\n

At our clinic, under the guidance of a certified testosterone treatment specialist, we offer a range of hormone therapies tailored to each patient’s needs. We are also able to provide treatments using long-acting oral and injectable testosterone, offering
\n patients a less burdensome option. Post-treatment, we monitor hormone levels and provide consultation for related symptoms, such as erectile dysfunction (ED). If you have any concerns, feel free to consult with us.<\/p>\n

HIV Treatment<\/h3>\n
<\/div>\n

As of February 2025, we have been designated as an authorized provider under the Japanese medical expense subsidy program for chronic illnesses. In addition to offering HIV prevention medications (PrEP\/PEP), we also provide continued HIV care after a
\n patient’s condition has stabilized at a designated AIDS treatment center.<\/p>\n

Traditionally, HIV treatment has been limited to designated AIDS treatment centers, which often involve long waiting times, limited consultation hours incompatible with work schedules, accessibility challenges and privacy concerns.<\/p>\n

Today, HIV is considered a manageable chronic condition, similar to hypertension or diabetes. Being able to continue care anytime, anywhere and without delay significantly improves patients’ quality of life.<\/p>\n

At Idaten Clinic, we are equipped to support patients not only with STIs but also with HIV\u2014covering everything from testing and prevention to information and treatment.<\/p>\n
