[1] The calculation of result-reporting day begins when the collected samples arrive at the laboratory. If samples are collected in the evening, on weekends or on national holidays, the countdown begins from the next business day of the laboratory.<\/p>\n

[3] HPV types 16 and 18, which are high-risk types, are reported individually, and the result will be shown as “Positive (Type 16)” or “Positive (Type 18).” If any other high-risk type is detected (31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58, 59, 66, or 68), the result will be reported as “Positive (high-risk type other than 16\/18).” High-risk types other than 16 and 18 are not reported individually by type number.<\/p>\n

[4] This test identifies which clinically important HPV genotypes (high-risk and low-risk) are detected, and the result will be reported as either “Negative” or the detected genotype number(s). This is not a comprehensive test for all HPV types.<\/p>\n
